ARMS is designed specifically for high speed metals production control operations, where relatively few production samples with a continuous flow and fast sample turnaround times are typical. In these laboratories, generic LIMS products often fail to provide solutions on sample throughput and speed of operation. ARMS provides these solutions with minimum laboratory staff required.ARMS can manage an entire laboratory: Provide central sample registration facilities, including collecting results from multiple decentralized laboratories to provide a central control point Schedule instrument use Monitor laboratory activities with extended result display and editing capabilities using a full range of tools Process reliable results in less than 2 seconds Automatically coordinate the flow of analytical results from multiple instruments throughout the laboratory Adapt to laboratory-specific methods and procedures Merge different analyses: partial results from every sample processed on two or more instruments are integrated into complete analyses, checked against predefined material specifications, stored for further processing and distributed to all decision points Up to sixteen instruments and up to four manual results entry terminals can be connected
