The Thermo Scientific ITQ 1100 GC/MSn  is ideal for laboratories seeking a powerful and flexible GC/MS platform. Unmatched full scan sensitivity, extended mass range, and standard MSn (MS/MS, n< 5) make the ITQ 1100 the ideal choice for R&D laboratories, food safety analyses, and environmental and toxicology applications. The ITQ 1100 also features new MSn scan features that make this powerful technique easier to implement, with richer data for structural elucidation or confirmations.

ITQ 1100 GC/MSn Highlights

  • NEW Advanced Scan Functions for MSn Experiments: The ITQ 1100 comes standard with two advanced scan functions, both available for the first time with the ITQ Series - ACE (Automated Collision Energy) and PQD (Pulsed Q Dissociation Mode). The advantages of MSn are more readily achieved using these features - methods are easier to optimize and data quality is improved.
  • External Ionization Ion Source:  Independent temperature control from 125 to 300oC provides stable operation and enhanced chromatographic performance. Spectral integrity is enhanced when ionization occurs outside of the ion trap and the system stays cleaner longer, for improved uptime and longer periods between cleaning.
  • Data Dependent™ Scanning: Data Dependent scanning helps facilitate MSn experiments by allowing MS/MS methods to be written without knowing in advance what specific precursor ions may be found during an analysis. Both library-searchable full-scan MS spectra and structural MSn data are available.

TRACE GC Ultra Gas Chromatograph - Ultra in Performance, Usability, and Versatility

The Thermo Scientific TRACE GC Ultra  gas chromatograph offers a full range of injector options, allowing you to match the injection technique to the sample and target compound characteristics. This ensures greatest reproducibility, sensitivity and reliability for routine operations. Select from two available injector positions and the following injector options:

  • Standard Split/Splitless (SSL)
  • True Cold on-Column
  • Programmable Temperature Vaporizing Inlet (PTV)

A full complement of traditional GC detectors is also available for the TRACE GC Ultra, enabling the use of screening and GC/MS confirmations on the same instrument. Detector options include Flame Ionization Detector (FID), Electron Capture Detector (ECD), Photoionization Detector (PID), Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD), Nitrogen Phosphorous Detector (NPD), Flame Photometric Detector (FPD), Pulsed Discharge Helium Ionization Detector (PDD) - also available in tandem with ECD.
